This important part is located under the shelf that holds the clean solution tank and has 2 hoses connected to it on "PowerScrub 50" SteamVacs by Hoover. This plate is what releases the water from the tank and sends it to the scrub brushes. When this part is bad or failing it may leak water or not dispense water at all. Removing a couple screws and the hoses is all it takes to replace. Reasons for failure can be just plain wear due to its rubber construction or being plugged or stuck open/closed by the use of pine cleaning solutions.
