Replacement of the new updated part is straight forward and easily done. Effective Nov. 2013 the new touch pad includes a new button cover. It also does not have the remote control sensor as previous models. To use a remote control you must also order part 212. (Attention owners with 2007-09 units. An update kit is required. See part #201 REBUILD KIT) Further NOTE: New touch pad has only one (1) wire harness and is not interchangeable with 2 wire set system.
